For the past week, I have been learning and doing a course on GameDev.tv “Godot4 C# Action Adventure: Build your own 2.5D RPG”. Mostly to understand and get used to Godots C# format. Eventually building projects that require heavier logic with C# and simpler logic with GDscript in the future.
This course gives me some ideas to test out a 2D hack-and-slash prototype like “Dynasty Warriors” in the future. A notable learning in the course for me is understanding Godot’s Girdmap system a lot more, and have to look more into how to export massive amounts of files from Blender with a singular texture to Godot.
Spent the day setting up a Blog, Ko-fi account, and Stripe. Slowly building up my online presence.
